16 Brockway Road
Station 2 of the Chelsea Fire Department, situated at 16 Brockway Road, is a key facility that supports the fire and emergency services for the community. It is equipped with necessary amenities and spaces that facilitate the operations and training of the fire personnel. The station is staffed by a dedicated team of 100% volunteer staff, ensuring round-the-clock service throughout the year. As our newest facility, housing our newest Rescue Vehicle, this station plays a vital role in meeting the diverse and growing demands of the area it serves. This station houses two apparatus, a brand new rescue pumper and a pumper tanker.

Pump capabilities: 1,250 gallons per minute
Tank size: 2,000 gallons
House bed capacity: 1,000 feet 5" house and 500 feet 3 inch hose
Duties: This apparatus is first to respond for any fire related incident where water service is limited or unavailable. This apparatus main function is to bring additional water needed for the incident as well as shuttle water as necessary. This apparatus carries an additional portable water tank that can be left at the incident as it travels to and from the water source.
